ABOUT IVAN
THE BEGINNING
Ivan Donev is an emerging Bulgarian designer specialized in Made in Italy couture. He was born on July 4 1987 in the city of Plovdiv and graduated as a musician and dancer, but the passion for fashion design changed his path and brought him to Italy at the age of 18. He completed in Rome his Master in High Fashion Design and Product Manager at KOEFIA, the International Academy of High Fashion and Costume Arts.

In July 2012 he made his first debut on the catwalks of AltaRoma, during the final year of KOEFIA Academy where gained recognition from Santo Versace. After that event, Ivan has been invited to different fashion events, like the Istanbul Fashion Week, the Milan Design Week, the Hempel Award China Fashion Week, the Nefertiti International Fashion festival, the Rotterdam Fashion Week, the Indian Fashion Week VIE and the Textile and Fashion Expo of Bulgaria.

Today, more than 300 pages were written about Ivan Donev and his collections around the world: from Daily Mail London to Times India, from ELLE to GRAZIA.
His dresses are worn on the most prestigious red carpets in the world, like Venice Film Festival, NAPA Valley Film festival, BAFTA, by singers and actresses suah as Sofia Milos, Briana Evigan, Tichina Arnold, Grace Martine Tandon aka MYA, Padma Lakshmi, Jacqueline Lara, Loredana Lecciso and many other beautiful women.
His collections are inspired by nature, geometric shapes, elements from the past, embroidery, feathers, prints, volumes, balances, jewelry, everything put together to bring an elegant art of dialogue through the language of fashion.
